Charity Hike For The Stuart Mangan Appeal

Hi everyone.

First of all, Happy New Year!

I hope 2009 will bring you all everything you wish for.

I am taking part in a charity hike next Friday Jan 9th to raise funds for 24 year old Stuart Mangan, who was paralysed from the neck down in a sporting accident last year.

The details are below, and I am asking you all to contribute to this very needy cause.

The link below gives more details, and the site is a secure one and a government recognized charity.

To help out his appeal, I am taking part in the Art O’Neill Challenge, taking place on the night of January 9th.

The hike is from Dublin Castle to Glenmalure in the Wicklow Mountains, retracing the  famous jail break escape route of Art and Henry O’Neill and Red Hugh O’Donnell in 1592.

The hike will be under a full moon, beginning at midnight, and cover a distance of 55 kilometers/34 miles.

Thank you all in advance for your support, we think we have problems in our lives, but when you see what is in front of Stuart, it makes you appreciate the tiny problems you really have!

Please feel free to send this link to others if you feel the cause is worth it, as the more I can raise the better!
