A subject often found on   discussion forums dealing with internet marketing is the amount of  cash people spend,  compared to what they are actually earning. The problem with this line of thinking is that in reality,  most people really do not know how much their Internet marketing affiliate program is actually costing them. 

You should look at the question of how much Internet marketing is costing you from the standpoint of  time and money.

In the business world in general,  some people are great at starting a business, and others prefer to buy an established business.  This is also true in the online business field, where many people attempt to build a work at home internet business from the beginning, while those with more money to invest may prefer to step into one that is already established. 

Like most things, there are good and bad points about buying an existing home internet business.

Finding out what really motivates us is an important step in planing your future activity. By making a wish list, or dream list, you set down concrete reasons to make yourself do the things that are necessary to succeed in whatever activity you are involved in. If you are building a business of your own online, this is especially important.

So what might be some things you could have on a wish list of your own?

1.  As a start, maybe you just want to have enough money left over each month to have all your bills paid on time and your debts cleared.

2.  Moving on from that, maybe you have a wish or dream to upgrade your car, or maybe even afford to run an extra car in your family.

3.  Speaking of family, if you have children, perhaps you want to put money aside to provide a first class education for them, or pay for all the extras they get involved in like music, dancing and sports activities. All these have a habit of costing a lot of money, so having that taken care of financially is a big relief.

4.  Do you ever watch travel programs on TV and think “I’d love to go there someday”? Well, that should go on your deams list as well. The world is a beautiful place, so make it your business to see it.

5.  Maybe travel isn’t your dream, but upgrading your house may well be. Perhaps you would like to own a second or holiday home, or even buy one for a family member who is less well off.

6.  For some people, their biggest wish is to be able to quit their job, and become their own boss. Having more control over your life is a very big plus in todays economy.

7.  To complete a wish list, it should really have some component of charitable work. Having both the time and money to give to needy causes is a powerful goal that drives many people to great success in the business world.

8.  Being able to retire before the standard age of 65 is a very worthwhile and achievable goal today, so if that suits you then put it down on your dream list.

Obviously, there are many other possibilities to consider when drawing up a wish list. Make yours personal to you, and then remind yourself of what is on the list frequently. Combined with a good goal setting plan, it will ensure your long term success in life.

With the constant nature of change on the Internet, one thing we need to be careful of is keeping things simple and easy to manage.  To make big money online you need four basic things, and everything else is just padding. So what are these key ingredients to making money online today?   

1.  To start with, you need a product, one that people have a need for, an interest in, and the ability to pay for. The Internet has opened up great opportunities for ordinary people to make money online.

Of course, there are some products that are better suited  for Internet business than others. For most people,  dealing in information products is the best way to go about making money online today.

2.   Once youhave chosen your products, then you need to source customers.  The great thing is that nowadays many people go online seeking answers to questions, or looking for solutions to their problems.

This gives you a very nice opening to making money online by selling problem-solving information. You do need a skill for this, but it also makes it easy once we begin to understand what problems people face.
